The installation, which will "tour" other major international cities, is 5 meters high & weighs more than 2 tons. In the middle of The Trap sits a pint of Stella. The campaign includes an online game, "Le Defi" & some cool coasters. According to Maria Guest, marketing manager of Stella Artois, the installation demonstrates the lenghts someone might go to in order to protect their Stella. Instead of seeing billboards with the same mind-numbing casino ad, these boards feature a changing array of unique, personal and unexpected messages which are triggered by the MINI owner utilizing Radio Frequency Identification Technology (RFID)—the same kind used in passports and credit cards. The billboards generate customized content to owners carrying active RFID tags in real-time, using information provided by the owners. The system searches these sites for certain phrases, which it then collects and stores in a database. The data is presented as an interactive installation, displayed on a 56” high-resolution touch screen, hung vertically on a wall in a dark room. On screen is an interactive sky, whose weather (sunny, cloudy, rainy, snowy, etc.) can be controlled by the viewer. Through the sky float hundreds of blue (male) and pink (female) balloons, each representing a single dating profile. The brighter balloons are younger people; the darker balloons older. The artist stayed for two months in a company of one of the sponsors of the museum : Deloitte. Her strange behaviour caused different reactions from the employees who couldn't understand why she got the job. Later on these reactions such as angry mails to the director or funny remarks were recollected and presented in the museum.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_cW3yfMxgaZo/TMMGTL4ApPI/AAAAAAAAADs/HHJbknz14eY/s320/trainee01.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5531271694016095474" />

You don't have to visit the museum to disturb it

In coöperation with the firm Siemens (directeur Philip Maertens) the artist Kris Vleeschouwer created the work Glassworks. Lin's installations are environmental and designed for public spaces and exhibition architecture. His works of art are not only decorative. The ornaments of the works have hidden symbolic meanings and sometimes make tough cultural statements. The works also stimulate interaction between people, they become platforms for conversation.

Architectural Influence : Hundertwasser - Darmstadt

Artistic Influence : Olafur Eliasson - Waterfalls Brooklyn Bridge

Internationally acclaimed artist Olafur Eliasson brought a sight of monumental proportions to the shores of New York City. (Albania), initiated by the mayor of Tirana (and a former friend of Sala) : Edi Rama. This video is Sala's crystallisation of his friend's dizzyingly intensity to create a better life for the city. The video shows people hurry back and forth across gangplanks, serious faced, getting on with the day. Above them, painters paint. A montage of buildings, with motifs that hint at a number of designers. Some seem to resemble the odd-shaped Hundertwasser apartment buildings in Vienna, though this might be a trick of the colour scheme.
